The enthusiastic teams behind Mason’s Travel have been hard at work over the last few months, in eager anticipation of the return of international tourism to Seychelles’ shores. As borders open to the rest of the world (except South Africa) on 25 March 2021, Mason’s Travel is more ready than ever to welcome international visitors back to our islands with the warm Seychellois hospitality that the destination is known for.
Over the last few months, Mason’s Travel has put renewed efforts into ensuring the health and safety of our clients and employees; into training and innovation; and into updating our local knowledge – in time to share it with the world:
- Mason’s Travel was one of the first tourism companies in Seychelles to get all of their front line workers (drivers and guides, airport teams, reps, front office staff and marine teams – across Mahé, Praslin and La Digue) vaccinated against covid-19.
- Mason’s Travel has invested in new, more efficient and more environmentally-friendly cleaning technology. Teams have been using the quiet period to deep clean all of Mason’s vessels and vehicles used for transfers and excursions.
- Mason’s Travel has been certified by the Seychelles Department of Health as an approved covid-safe tourism service provider, confirming that our training and operations meet international safety standards in independent audits.
- Apart from the revision of health and safety protocols, Mason’s excursions teams and guides have been brushing up on their local destination knowledge too! Digital information sharing and webinars with organizations like the Seychelles Islands Foundation (SIF) – about the latest research in the Vallee de Mai – as well as group familiarization trips have been an opportunity to share knowledge between drivers and guides and offer a more insightful Seychelles experience to our clients.
We are ready! We’ve been waiting, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to paradise!
